i just installed my walbro 190 pump and turned the car on and the gas level was correct, then after driving some and the gas getting lower I noticed my gas gauge completely took a dive to the E in a matter of 5 mins, now the gauge is at E and it will try and go back up but then it just falls back down, Anyone have this problem before?

Probably something with sending unit take it out again and check it and make sure there isnt any broken wires. There really arent any shortcuts on this one.

yea im gonna take it back out friday and see what the deal is, its wierd now because whenever im at idle the gas gauge will rise up but whenever i start to drive again it will fall back towards the E

i had a similar problem with mine turned out the sender arm was caught on a cable tie holding it down all the time so the gauge never went past E
