upper coolant house

my upper radiator hose...the one going from the top of the radiator to the water neck...well after the car warms up and everything i noticed that it like swells up and gets bigger and if u squeze it u can fell pressure in it....is that normal...this is a 95 awd tsi

How old is the hose, sounds like you need to replace it, does the car get real hot or over heat?

no it does not over heat at all...it stays at normal temp

No, that's a blown hose. Replace all of them.

so its the hose thats the problem not my cooling system

Yes, the webbing inside the hose is rotten. Next step is a horrible sound, gigantic steam cloud, and engine death if you're the sort to "just drive it two miles to my friend's house".
