OK here's the situation. About 2 weeks ago the voltage regulator in my alternator went out. I know this because the volts on my TT were at 15.9. I replaced the alternator and the volts got better but they would drop when i shifted into reverse to 12.5. Once i shifted out of reverse they would rise to mid 13's. So the other day i went to start my car and it wouldn't start. I tried for 10 min. but nothing. I took the battery out and had it tested and it was fine. So i go put the battery back in and it starts up fine. That made me think it was a bad connection. So i replaced the terminals at the battery, and it starts every time no problem. Now when i come to stops the volts drop to 13 and then rise back up to 13.8-14. I know it's not the alternator because it was replaced last week and the battery is fine. So if anyone has any idea of why the volts are dropping at stops please let me know, i would appreciate it, thanks!!
