I'll start with the type of car I have. It is a 91 1g GSX with a 142,000 miles on it. Now the problem I am having. My car died out on me while driving down the road. No CEL or anything. I got her home and tried to get her going. I checked for fuel and thats fine. then I checked spark and the ark was a pale yellow. As I was checking the spark the spark became bright blue and the car started up. She died a minute later and would not start again. Then I started to hear a crackling sound coming from where i thought was the coil pack. So I assumed it was the coil pack, and igniter. I replaced both and she still wont start up. But that sound I heard is still there coming from the drivers side firewall and around the intake manifold. Tomorrow I am going to check my cam sensor and my ecu. I was just wondering if someone might no what could be making the sound or have ran into something like this before. Also to add on my ABS light would come on every so often and I have read this is due to eletricale problems. I thought my battery might have just been to weak.
Thank you for any help you can give.
