While I was driving home from work in the snow I decided to hit my e-brake to see if it worked because I never did it before. then I slid a little and my car just died. I tried to start it and it seemed like I flooded the engine. So I waited for about 30mins and the car started up and I got about a block away and it died and seemed flooded again. Then I came to pick the car up that morning and it would start then die in a few seconds. I found oil in the spark plug wires and wells. I also noticed that its like smoke comming from my exaust manifold.

I really need held.

hey man i got the same problem in i have no ideas what it could be , well im startin to think the rings are bad since mine is like what 14 yrs old in everything, cuz i always got black wet gas on my plugs when i pull them out after it wont start, and i loosed up the manifold alittle and tha same stuff leaked out so.. iduno i think that might be it,

ohh yea... you hit the Ebrake in'a awd auto? did you put it in neutral first j/w

If you have oil in with the plugs, the rings are probably about shot. Does it smoke when you change gears? If so I would definately say that is your problem.

the oil in the spark plug wells and on the wires is probably the valve cover gaset. it gets hard over the years and the oil will leak past right into the wells. it could also be a bad gasket on the oil cap the lets the oil leak down into the spark plug well area (under the spark plug cover it will fill with oil). i would check those gaskets and make sure they are ok. pull the wires off (leave plugs in car and look into wells) and see if the plugs are coated with oil (the porcelin part) or if the wells are filled with oil. n e ways i would change the plugs and wires because it seems like the oil has fouled them. if the actual electrode of the plugs has oil on it it is probably the valve seals or the rings.
