Calgary,
I just replaced my ISC unit with a "good" one but I am still getting ridiculous idle surge ranging from 350rpm to 2500rpm. VFAQ (http://www.myzero.com/engine/surge.html) suggests I replace the motor with one that tests under 30ohms which my new one did at 28.7ohms???

If I bought one from satan, what would that ISC unit test? 25ohms or less??? In otherwords, should I buy an brand new one or does anybody else have any suggestions?

I don't hear to many 2g guys doing the EGR blockoff plate, but VFAQ suggests that as a possible fix??

Thanks for your replies.

SO YOU CHANGED YOUR IDLE MOTOR AND IT'S STILL GOING ON THE FRITS , DOUBLE CHECK ALL THE LINES TO MAKE SHURE THEY ARE PROPERLY CONNECTED, ASWELL AS THE ELECTRIC PLUG IN TO THE MOTOR.

YOU SHOULD BE GETTING A CODE , SO TRY READING IT AND THEN ANILIZE THE PROBLEM.
