I installed my J pipe on my evo 16g turbo and there was no gasket for it. And now Im losing oil. It isnt a fast leak but i go through about a qaurt of oil in a week. Could this be Under heavy acceleration oil is leakin out between the J pipe and the turbo? Would a gasket fix this. ALso My idle when im in park and nuetral goes from 1000 to 1500 and back to 1000 it does this till i put it into a gear. Could this be from an air leak. Haha and the last problem is my N1 exhuast pops in high rpms and i loose power. Could this be from a stud in my O2 sensor housing being stripped so the exhiuast isnt tighend down all the way? Haha that is all the problems I have for now.

ok well the gasket you are talking about i belive is the oil return line gasket. If thats the case then as soon as you replace that little guy the leak with be gone. That gasket is a PITA to do just to let you know.
ok now about the RPM. Its a common problem you probly read it or heard it on here a few times, its called idle surg. First off check your bis screw to make sure it is right mine was messing up and i fixed by doing that mine was really lose speaking i need to do it again. Now about the N1, that i am not sure of sorry.

Thanks for the help. The gasket is on the turbo were the j pipe connects to it runs to the sidemount. If that helps.

hmm i am not sure if i see what you are talking about. The J pipe i am thinking of goes on the turbo then to the inter cooler and had that pita clamp thing on it to put it back on. I don't see why oil would be leaking there when i changed the gasket i had there there were no signs of oil being there at all and i see how or why oil would be it is part of the intake

BETWEEN MY TURBO AND THE J PIPE I DONT HAVE A GASKET AND BY TOUCH IT DOESNT FEEL SEALED ALL THE WAY? SO I NEED A GASKET
