Well the dealer called and said I have crankwalk, yay! They want $4K to for a new small block and all the trimings. What's the best option I've got here? Reman motor? New motor? There are so many posts on this in this forum. I really don't want to spend $4K, but will if I have to.

$4 grand??? Holy sheeeeot! You can get a low mileage 6 bolt for a fraction of that. Just shop for a 6 bolt on dsmtrader and slap that badboy in before its too late.
