That was a compliment. Otherwise, I'd have said, "Yup. Same old shit." or something else similarly desultory, and inconsiderate of your "artistic" side (which your mother is undoubtedly as proud of as your father is discomforted).

There's just not a lot of room for innovation in an 800X150-pixels piece of screenspace. It's not your fault. You simply weren't among the first ten-million to log onto the web with a graphics program.
