Ok guys and gals. I was chosen to be a participant in an event called Fair factor 2012 put on by Power 99.1 FM at the Benton Franklin Count fair and Rodeo.
This is there version of the TV show Fear Factor!
Yesterday was my day to participate. I ended up as the champion for Wednesday.
Each day they are doing the same challenges with 4 different people and the 4 champions from Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday go up against each other on Sat for the chance to win a 6 night, all inclusive trip to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico including airfare, transportation to and from the airport to the resort, all food and drinks on the resort...for 2!
So yesterday our 1st challenge was to over come our fear of people. We had to sell Ticket to an event called The Mid Columbia Duck race for our local Rotary Club. the person who sold the least tickets was out this round. I ended up 3rd place in this round.
2nd round was eating two hotdogs (bread and hotdog) topped with grubs and a live worm. I ended up eating it all with no issues and ended up 2nd place and advance to the finale.
In the finale we had to transfer water from a barrel to a picture filling it up using only our mouths and then opening a box containing 10 grasshoppers and had to eat all of them I passed this challenge with no problems, the girl I was going against failed to eat at least 1 grasshopper there for I won the overall day.
I get to go back on Saturday for the finale.
So where I need some help from my fellow DSM'ers is our 1st Challenge will be selling tickets again. I know most cant make it up to help me out but what I can do is collect money if anyone is willing to help me out and buy a ticket for ya. the tickets are $5 each and Grand prize is a 2012 Toyota Camry, plus over 100 other gifts they draw name for. I will email or mail you a copy of any and all ticket you buy for me.
