Well...either the rear end shattered on me or i broke the output shaft or something...all i know is the car is broken and makes a klunking noise when it moves. Im seriously about to give up on this car. One thing after another. so far ive had the a/c belt snap on me, problems with my couplers for my font mount, my IAC went out, my CAS went out, my air temp sensor went out, my wheel bearings are bad and now this?!?!?! im sick of this, i quit.:banghead:

I know man it gets bad at times, but like anything you just need to work threw it slowly and calm. My intercooler couplers kept coming off under boost, so the front end has been apart for a month waiting on a backorder or parts from extreme psi,..... Just think how good you will feel when you make it all work good :hellyeah:

I'll take your car off your hands for you if all that little shit is too much for you to handle ROFL

Don't give up, it's just that time when she wants some maintenance done. Parts only last so many miles and you have reached that mileage. You'll get her all fixed up and be good to go.

Little things? kinda like how my ring and pinion gear shattered on me in my new(ish) LSD? Yeah, they are all little problems, but when they all go bad within a month, the price counter on repairing it gets pretty high.

You got the car for free asshole:D

Once you've had to drop that tranny 10+ times you won't be so afraid of doing it anymore.

FYI old turbo cars break a lot. Imagine your DSM as a big hole in the ground that you continually throw money in for no apparent reason.

Richard it's just how dsm's are. They need proper upkeep all the time.
I'm on motor 3 and tranny 3. It'll be okay man, just keep plugging away.
Just remember, if you're good to her; she'll take care of you.

technically yes you are right...but at the same time..think about how much ive had to spend trying to get it running right!

hahaha ive been trying to be good to her...but bam one thing breaks just as i fix something else LOL. its alright though, it gives me something to do so i keep out of trouble hahaha:thumb:

I've definately felt like that, and looking at all the half finished dsm projects and ones that people just gave up on, on craigslist, I always wonder if all those people are smarter for calling it quits... You know what; they probably are, but I also know I'm a stubborn muffuger that isn't about to let my dsm get the better of me... and I can't imagine the pride I'll feel at making a decent car out of her, and when I do, that's when I can finally think of selling her ;) but not till then...
So stick with it or don't just know most of us have been trough hell and high water with these cars and while in hindsight I wouldnt touch this car with a 50 ft pole it's too late now and I intend to see it trough to the END
