I have a 97 2G an my side skirt/ Molding is falling off on the driver side because the plastic brackets that the white clips plug into are breaking off. I was wondering if anyone one else has had this problem? Im sure I can come up with something but I am open to ideas.

I too have had this problem with my 98 gst. I picked up some of the replacement tabs from autozone and a little time i was able to replace the tabs and remount the skirt. the tabs are fairly cheap. hope this helps

He is talking about the plastic brackets that hold the tabs to the side skirt.

It is a reoccuring thing with most 2gs. I'd say find some jb weld and go that route. Might not hold forever, but it should be better than falling off.

hot glue and some new " Christmas trees " did the trick. Wasnt too bad at all. See how long it hold but I doubt its coming off any time soon.

There is actually stuff that will weld plastic. It is kinda expensive and you can get it from auto paint supply stores usually. it is a 2 part epoxy.
