East side meets 2009

Seeing how all the west side boyz have their own threads for meets, I was wondering if any of us over here on the forgotten side wanted to plan any meets this year. Post your thoughts and maybe we can get something going. I have been rather lax on doing anything to my car this year mainly due to budget but also just not having anyone or anything to motivate me.

well it has been my experience that the tri-shitties area has crap for car meets but I for one would love to get together with other dsmers and I know a couple other people that would love to get together as well.

I for one am willing to travel within reason. The dsm only gets around 11mpg (partly my fault). Maybe we could setup a time to meet up at renegade or srp.

And I agree about the Tri-cities meets. There is always some dumbass that will show up and ruin a good time for everyone else. I for one am too old to be hustled by police because someone(no one in particular) can't remain civilized and try to show how big a tool he/she is by doing burnouts or other stupid crap.

Djordan did you get your car back on the road? If you need any help or just want someone to bullshit with hit me up.

Also does anyone know who owns or are they a member on here the spyder that is always in Winco parking lot in richland? I see the car there all the time.

yup my dsm is running again and running pretty well and why the heck does your eclipse only get 11 mpg. I got 1000cc injectors and pizza drive mine and get about 23 mpg.

E85 is one reason but I have never gotten that great of millage out of it. Alex got me interested in working on my car today after seening his car on the rollers today. I think I may get some things finished up tomorrow and go out to tune on it. Just might even take it to renegade on the 4th.

Take a look at the threads posted about meets on the west side. Of course if we do plan a meet over here on the east side you are more than welcome to come.

Well I would like to hangout , but my engine is in pieces right now...I could have put it together but I got some parts stolen.... anyways wait for summer hopefully my friends and I will have our cars running....theres about 6 of us in the yakima area that hangout.

As for east side meets, I'm down if we can get a good group put together. I don't mind going over to the west side for meets, but it would be nice to have a good turnout over on our side of the mountains.

Well I have friends that live in the Tri-city area and would be up for a meet (provided my car is up and running) maybe some of us here in the portland area can meet up and drive over. I know some short cuts that are FUN and can cut about a half hour off our time to get there.
