Just putting the word out if your not doing anything this weekend on Friday PIR will be open for late nite drags if the weather is permitting... So pull that project out of the garage and dust it off. Im not sure about Saturday but im sure about Friday!!:rocks::rocks:

I'm pretty sure the sound ordinance doesn't kick in till around 9 p.m. so if you make your passes before then you should be fine.

I wasnt planning on going, but Im always down to watch a fellow GVR4 tuner make some passes :) How late are you going to be there, Ryan?

The rule for noise at PIR is:

90db or above must stop at 10pm.
105db or above is not allowed, period. You WILL get booted, I've seen it.

I know quite a few people that pass the 90db mark, but hitting the 105db mark is actually pretty tough. So most people will be ok, or will have to stop at 10pm.

Ya i be there watching got to do some tuning then ill try with my car and i got to get a crash helmet.:hellyeah:: im pretty sure your car not that loud there are some pretty rowdy hotrods their:cry:.

i am going to be there with some others. I hope that it will be a good turn out. The wheather is great. the only problem is it will get cold.

How did tonight go? I wish I could make it out to meet you guys. Keep fresh threads up when you go to the track so us lurkers can eventually make it out also.

Thanks,
Paul
The DSM guy

I didnt make it, got caught up at happy hour at The Rock for longer than I expected. I didnt even get the VR4 driving today like I hoped to do. Pullin the motor tomorrow, I'll be at the track later this year for sure. Howd you do, Ryan?

I was down there too. SO many hondas!!!!! Did the green turd run? I saw it going on the tow truck. I got there a little late. That was a sweet R35. SOOOOO quite.:shhh: It was tough not having my car ready to run. Hopefully in the next month or two.

the turd ran 10.5 slipping all the way through third. Had it been warm the tires would of hooked. the 11:1 comp really helped the mid range power. Couldn't tell what he broke though.

This morning, Aaron mentioned it hucking the ring gear off the Quartermaster flywheel. Oops! :p

Those QM clutches are pretty spendy too. They dont carry a warranty do they? ROFL

I will try and get there earlier to see the turd run. There was a long ass line to get in.

If anyone wants to get together to work on the dsm's this weekend hit me up. Me and James will be doing a clutch install on his 1g AWD. 6 puck sprung. So if anyone else is in the area and need some help or just want to wrench let me know.
