hi guys, just seeing if anyone in Salem,OR can help me do a boost leak test? I can pay depending on how much. I just don't have a place to do it or air compressor. Thanks you guys

If I knew how to I would help you, I've been wanting to test my system too, I have access to a compresor and I have the garage to do it but no idea on how to...

If you have any business in PDX this coming week and you wanted to drive a bit further to Vancouver I could help you out.

well i live in Portland Oregon I've got the boost leak tester you can find it on the internet if you look. they are really easy to make and then go to a gas station and use the air to pressurize the system. u might be able to use like a 12v compressor that plugs into a cigarette lighter you can get from Baxter auto parts which is where i work they are only like 40 bucks and they will have everything you need to make the tester except the pvc cap. you'll have to go to home depot or something for that. les schwab will ###### give you the valve stem for free if you ask.

here is a link of the boost leak tester.

A little 12V tire air compressor will only work if you have absolutely no leaks. Otherwise the volume from those pumps is so small that if there is a leak, you won't ever be able to find it.

Otherwise, you can buy a small air tank from most any parts store, fill it up at the gas station or some place that has a compressor, and just take it home and use that. Should be plenty of volume. Just be careful not to overpressurize the system if you do it that way.

Hi again guys, is there anyone near me that can listen to my car to see if they can tell me if the noise it is making is the BS bearings or something else?

I can drive to you depending on how far you are from me

Thanks again
