Little Advice for a tranny conversion

Guys I just got my engine and tranny ordered and an the way to me and the thing is that its an AWD tranny thats mounted to it now. I know Its a stronger tranny for more power but is there any way to change it to a FWD I heard people tell me to just let the half shaft from the tranny hang but thats weight. that i dont need and i dont want it to knock under the car. Anybody that has did this before PLEASE!!!!! give me the advice i need.

you will have to get the spider gears welded up inside the tranny or buy a new diff for it to work right........then you can just leave the shaft out and plug it or leave it on...

that doesnt sound like a one man job . but you recommend any shop that can do the job right.

andre @ pina motorsports can weld it up for you.....his shop is in kent ...he has done many of these..

Why not post a WTT thread? I am sure shipping (maybe just gas if it is local) would be cheaper than a machine shop.
