Reliable shop in Tacoma area
Right now Im in Iraq servin my time. I dont have alot of time to get on the net so i cant research this question like i need to so i will just flat out ask the question. When i get back to Ft Lewis sometime in july i will have 3 to 4 months to get the stuff i need done before i leave to return to kansas. I need a shop that is trustworthy, reliable meaning they will do what they say they will do by the time they say, knows there stuff, and isnt gonna cost an arm and a leg.
What i need done is a engine rebuild, New Clutch, turbo upgrade, intercooler piping for front mount, new suspension, some new electornics as in a boost controller and variouse others, and a my engine tuned to my SAFC II. I have a 97 Eclipse GST with a first gen motor i belive its a 6 bolt. Plus i need a new front right fender and hood . So if you guys can make some suggestion it will be great. Im kind of on a time crunch because i go home for leave in a few weeks and i need to call the places up and ask around for prices see if i can work some deals. Hey guys thanks for the input. Cant wait to be back in washington. THANKS FROM A SOLDIER IN NEED.

English racing is 3 hours away and he can take care of all your needs. He does great work and very reasonable pricing. Look him up. Good Luck

I go to World One Performance in Kent for my Talon. If English wasnt so far i'd be there they do great work. My buddy's Evo got done they do top notch work for under the normal labor fees around the Tacoma area. What ever you do go to Illtech they do half ass work and there over priced. I heard PIA on Pacific Avenue, in Spanaway, is a good choice also.

Built do you live on 11th and proctor?
Um, I took my GS-T to precision auto on 6th. The people know what they're doing. They tuned it, replaced o2 which was ### ### i can do that, and did something to the manifold. Now it idles low and passed emissions. But they charged my left ear for it all.

Pina is good, it is right next to intec. The people at world one are nice but they have tryed to charge me twice as much as pina did to do some random work. Andre and ndgx at pina(hes here on tuners) seem to both be good guys, and the shop is definently dedicated to dsms. Both world one and pina are very expensive tho. Im still trying to find a shop that is legit but not going to charge you up the ass. And that doesnt look down on you because your young and broke
P.s. World One built a 2.7 sti stroker motor for my buddy and they did a great job, until he hydrolocked a cylinder because his meth kit didnt stop spraying for some reason.

I would just like to say that I signed up on this site a while back. I don't check it as often as I should. I was working on a revamp of my shops site and saw this posting in google. I would like to apologize for not seeing this sooner. If anyone is looking for a shop in the tacoma area. I would like to help anyone I can. I haven't had a DSM in a few years. But I have personally had 11 different ones since 91, worked on numerous customer cars, and aquired a Evo in 2007 for the new shop car. My roots are DSM, and I love working on them.
Thanks for your time,
Jason Forward Motion LLC. www.turbo4g63.com

I have never herd anyone second guess that place.

I can't remember the name but there is a shop that is in Tacoma, that is very reputable. He was at hot import nights and had the cleanest black supra with over 1,000HP on race gas and a carbon fiber NSX that would stomp on the Supra apparently. I cant seem to find it, but maybe someone else knows on here?
EDIT:
Found it.
IllTechAuto.com || Auto Salon
Owners name is Cody Johnson, really nice guy, spoke with him in person at Hot Import Nights.
The NSX that I was talking about is for sale as well:
eBay Motors: Acura : NSX (item 230254603911 end time May-30-08 16:46:31 PDT)

CJ has a habit of not answering his phone. Does it all the time:-P
To get there:
Get on HWY 9 and head north from snohomish.
At King Charlies (purple burger joint at a stop light on the right) take a right. At the 4-Way stop take a left. Go until the road comes to a "T" and hang a right. Go down to almost the end of the road, his house is a brown house with new shop almost at the end of the road on the left, I dont think there are anymore houses after his, but I could be wrong.
