i just took my car to clutch doctors after putting in a clutch master cylinder thinking i did something wrong, but they're saying the clutch assembly is twisting? notchy shifting, pedal free play, the works. The car is a 92 Eagle Talon AWD with ACT2600 clutch in it, or atleast thats what the previous owner has said. The shop quoted me $700 to put in a STOCK clutch, heck no on downgrading. My question is where would you guys reccomend going to get my clutch assembly replaced/repaired? Anyone know if Pina does this kind of work? Being a full time student i have no time for maintnence at the moment. Thanks for any help

Brandon

Yes Pina Motorsports in Kent does. They put my ACT2600 in. Got the car back the day after I dropped it off I believe I spent somewhere in the ballpark of 900 bucks can't remember though. Great service though I was please enough to have them build a 2.3 stroker for me too :thumb:

Clutch doctors charges horrible prices for the clutches, however the labor isn't bad. For an AWD clutch install, the labor cost is $300 I believe. +$30 or so to resurface the flywheel. So, if you buy the clutch kit yourself and take it to them, the cost isn't too bad.

Alright guys, i'm just going to ask that if someone else responds, read through the post or even the topic TITLE. The car already has the clutch in it, i don't need that done. Its the clutch ASSEMBLY! not who can put in my clutch

ANYWAYS! since no one seems to know anything about this kind of thing i'll be pulling one from a parts car, modifying it, and hopefully be able to put it in before mine takes a crap. Thanks anyways
