i need help guys!! whenever i try to accelerate, my car just starts to hesitate between 2k nd 3k rpm.. then i did an obd2 test and it shows ehis code..PO303.. it says i have a misfire on cylinder no. 3.. i already changed the EGR valve, TPS, fuel filter.. i got new spark plugs.. and o2 sensor.. but then it still hesitates! before i got this problem with my car, i switched to supreme unleaded gas or 91.. i used to put 90 in it.. could this be the cause?

i couldnt find any vaccum leaks either.. and i already put an injector cleaner and nothing happened..

nope.. but i checked their resistance and theyre all fine.. il do a double check tomorow..
what does a compression test do?

If your getting a cylinder 3 misfire and its only coming on between 2 and 3k I would lean towards coil pack/cam sensor. If it was compression it would not be intermittent it would be noticeable from idle through WOT.

Put some di-electric grease on both ends of the plug wires. Make sure the connections on the coil pack are tite. The 429a coilpacks are tricky. Sometimes air pockets within the boot dont allow a good connection at the coil, hence the di-electric grease. Trust me its .99 and it solved my problem on my 99GS

If you need help about the 420A, you might wanna try 2GNT.com - home as well if you haven't joined there yet. That site focuses on that specific motor in our NT DSM's.

Actually some of the members here are also on that board. Also there is a 420A specific section on this board as well

Try out asking on that site, as well as the 420A section here see what kinda answers you might get. Might get some other ideas on what needs to be fixed.

Good luck man.
