anybody around here do a retro fit on a 1g? or does any one know how to. i have been wanting to retro fit mine, but i do not know how and dont want to mess things up. if anyone knows how to or knows someone who does, let me know. i appreciate it.

I assume you mean the retrofitting the AC system? It's really easy. You need to have the system evacuated of all the R12 in it. This will place a "vacuum" to the system. JiffyLube does this. Then, there are two nozzles you must put over the stock line's R12 nozzles. They do this so idiots can't pump R12 into a system that has R134A and vice versa. Then follow the directions on the cans of 134a make sure you put that can of lubricant in as is says. Otherwise your compressor will be dead within days of using it. It really is easy but you need to have the system evacuated first or you won't get great results. It will work but not very well.

If you mean retrofitting something else please explain what you mean.

im sorry for the confusion. i did get my a/c redone already but the retro fitting i am talking about is for the headlights. i want to retro fit hids. once again im sorry for not specifying.

I can't remember what year the 1G's changed from pop ups to fixed lights. I actually run a HID system on my car w/o a retrofit. PM me and let me know if you have the fixed lights or popups. Maybe I can try to help you out

If you mean retrofit, as in putting in HID lenses/projectors into the headlights, yes it's been done. There's no exact way to do it, depends what you're working with (size of projector you want to put in there). If you're going to do it, I suggest using an Acura TSX projector. It just barely fits, heightwise, inside our headlight housings (with some slight trimming of some leftover casting on the top and bottom).

i planned on using the tsx ones, but i do not know how to retro fit. i was wondering if anyone in this area has done, and is willing to help me with it. i will provide all the materials and what not. if there is someone who has done it and knows how, please get in touch with me. if someone is also just willing to do it for me, i am willing to pay them for it. thanks.
