i kinda need some help. just got dsmlink from full function about 2 months ago. sean installed it but some issues came up with the car so they couldn't tune. well i recently got the issues taken care of but now im not able to connect to dsmlink( command timed out) if theres any one around the bay area that would be willing to give me a hand, it would be much appreciated, thanks again Alfredo.

if its timed out try to make sure you still have the correct "com" selected. With my 1g, i have like com1, com2, com3, and com4. Sometimes when i unplug it and plug it back in, it will switch back to com 1 when com4 is the only one that will let me connect.

Im on my work computer so i cant give you exact instructions on how to find the correct COM, but its up at the top under options or something...

Hope this helps

thanks, yea ive done that like a billion times, ive posted on dsmlink forums, and that seems to be the problem with most people "timed out command" situation. im really starting to get frustrated, i dont know what else it could be!!
