Sacramento Area Meet

Ok, I see all these DSMers running around Sac county, but I haven't seen anything on here about meeting up anywhere. Whats the deal? I know if your like me, gas is killing you where it counts and you have to do what it takes and dont want to drive all the way to the Bay area to meet....

So this is my proposition:

Lets have a meet here in Sac county for all those people in and around the surrounding counties. I for one would like to finally meet up with some people and get to know more about my car...and network with people that can help me out with different issues with my car.
I am open to places and dates on where we should meet. I would really like to get together at a park so we could all take pics and BBQ. Once we have a date and place set, then I will edit the thread to have the date and place in the title.

im down to meet up and chill, im just an hour north of sac. when are peeps tryin to meet? hopefully not to soon, im in the middle of a rebuild right now. hopefully ill be done real soon! theres a couple of dsmers i know up here and im sure there down to meet up too. gas prices suck balls!!!!!!

I am planning on having it on a sunday. I really want to have a meet once a month. I figure we could have it down at the river or something. I just want to be able to see us get together as a group and show one another support and talk about one~anothers rides and see what everyone is doing. I am thinking the THIRD Sunday of Month. Does that sound like a plan to everyone?

Once we get the date set, then we will talk about the BBQ. I know alot of people work and I hope that the third sunday of every month suits everyone. I know there are going to be people that dont want to do it on a sunday, but that is a good day to relax and just chill.

If it's on Sunday I'll most likely take Monday off from work and make it a long weekend at one of the KOA campgrounds in the area. Mini-vacation here I come.

Try Sacramento-DSM :: Index There are weekly Saturday meets. Most of the guys are cool there. You and others interested in DSM meets around the Sacramento bay area are more than welcome to join the forums and check it out! I'm on there, but use a different SN.

ok . i have ran into some family issues and had to run out to west virgina for a while. i am going to be out here for a few months. but i still want everyone to start meeting up. What does everyone think about meting up at the river?

fom what i gather its close to sac. or it should be. but like i said, i'm not there fight now, but i should be back in a few months. I would just like to have a solid meeting place in effect to go to when i come back. any place within sac county or the surrounding areas is fine with me. i just want to be able to meet up with you all and have a place that we won't get harassed.
cause out here in west virgina right now, i have gone to 3 meets already in charelston....and they have been great. i just what to see that type of comrodery there.
