My motor has about 175k. Although nothing is wrong with it id like to have the peace and mind of it not blowing up. I know theres full fuction in union city but its going to cost an arm and a leg and i just dont have that kind of fundROFL . You'll probably say you get what you pay for but common, there has to be someone that does it for a reasonable price:rocks:

Danny's had luck with his engine build, you might wanna ask him. His SN is Ts91i I think.

yup, paul built my motor (for the most part)... I got all the machining work done myself (my friends dad owns a machine shop) and had them assemble the shortblock, but paul did everything else.

He's a good guy and stands by his work. He's been in the game longer than Sean at FFTEC (to the best of my knowledge) and his prices are better since his shop isnt as nice. He's cool, if you arent a douche he'll let you hang out and watch and ask questions while he works, most mechanics want to be left alone, but paul doesnt car. Paul seems to have all the little "tricks of the trade" down and will explain why he will do something a certain way. Lots of experience and knowledge with dsm's... i fully reccommend him.

Like said above, he doesnt do this full time anymore, but he will still take on projects, and do work for his long term customers (me haha)

PM me if you want his cell phone #

(and mahesh is right, i did have success with the motor thus far... 13.7 at 10psi small16g 12.9 15psi... havent had a chance to tune at any higher boost, but it has a lot left in it)

I built mine myself and used really good parts. Engine is built right and rock solid. I had a machine shop take off the sides of the counterweights on the crank, then shaped them myself with a grinder. My version of the butchered crank.

my motor was built by full function, the machine work done at rob's machine shop. this is one of those things where u get what you pay for, it may be expensive...but its been proven to handle as much as we can throw at it
