Hey, Im installing my evoIII turbo soon along with my safc and 550s. Does anyone know where I can get a good tune near the napa county? Thanks a lot-

woody was asking if there would be interest in a 2wd dyno a while back, you might want to try them. www.garagedonline.com

if you do get your car dynoed there, tell me how my old parts car is doing. Its the blue track car thats a 1990 mitsubishi eclipse gst.

wtf.... thats so ###. I can't believe someone stole it... that sucks.

i still say its worth the drive to go down to full function (www.fftec.com) to get your tuning. my car's getting tuned there next week and he's the only one that i'll let touch it.

Yeah, I doubt woody will get a dyno for a little bit, it would be awesome if he did though. I didnt even know about the gst! I didnt see it there last time I went to the shop but didnt think anything of it. That thing was clean!

But yeah has anyone else heard about full function? Its all I have to go on.

What do you neeed to know? Nearly every bay area dsmer goes there and they have turned out a number of high hp street dsms. Sean is the master of all things dsm and would do super quality work.

Full Function #1 in my book. If is tuning you want, Sean tunes the best, hands down. Make sure you fix any leaks or problems before you head over to FFTEC. This way they spend time on tuning only and not trying to fix your car before they start tuning session.

if you need proof ill post up my dyno numbers and a review of how the tuning was done. but i have seen him at work, and it's pretty impressive

Im not doubting you or anything, Ive just never heard of this shop until now. It looks like this will be worth the drive. About how much do you think it will be to get my car tuned? I know tunings probably the most important part about modifying a car and I dont want to take the cheap route.

Oh, and if I was to get the car tuned with the 550s will that make my car unsmogable? I have to get it smogged in November, should I just wait?

If the car is tuned well, then 550's shouldn't be a problem at all. Smog people can't tell if you have aftermarket injectors anyway unless they really stand out ROFL

Go here for dyno tunning prices for different tunning methods www.fftec.com. IT all depends on how well your car is runnign at the time of the tune. If you have boost leaks all over, bad plugs, etc.. its going to take way longer to tune, not to mention it will be a shitty tune, and obviously cost more. Another important thing is to make sure you have NO EXHAUST LEAKS. Sean tunes with a wideband and having no exhaust leaks is imperative to the tuning process.
