i was reading a few post about the subject but i am still confused. i want to know waht is safer, more efficient, cheaper/ more money, easier to instal. i do have a few mods but the bottem end is stock. anything that helps my car go faster is better but it has to be safe for my engine.

to lean, to long, to late;)

also what is the bet kit if there is one specificaly made for intercoolers.

Why waste perfectly good nitrous by spraying it any place OTHER than in your motor?

Regards,

...so what is safer on a stock bottem end...

You are kidding right? Of COURSE the intercooler kit will be safer because you are merely spraying nitrous on the intercooler, and not in the motor. It will make MUCH less power than spraying into the motor. That's like saying what is safer, a T25 or a 50 trim? Of course the T25 is safer, but the 50 trim will make boat loads more power. What is your goal with the car? With a proper tune, you can use a small shot of nitrous, and make good power. What is it you are looking for exactly?

Regards,

sorry to sound dumb and no im not joking. my goal is low 12's or high 11's. i think it sounds fair.i was trying to figure out the best way to get ride of my turbo lag. i know i cant get rid of it all but if your gfs 93 gs can beat u off the line there is somthing wrong.:barf: also i found a zex kit for 500. is that good.

IC spray is definitly safer. Ill be going with a spray bar shortly after my FMIC install. IMHO, Id much rather do it the safe way. Also, Im sort of anti nitrous, so I stay away anyways. I find making power/running good ET's w/o naaawwwwzzzz is more impressive than running with it.

PS: A cheaper method I hear for a spray bar, is to use Co2 instead of Nitrous. Has the same affect (= cold air into the IC)

Both are safe when installed properly. I went with both on my car. The reason I got the IC sprayer was to chill the IC when it's heat soaked not because I thought I would get major power gains out of it.

a cheaper way is to use CO2 instead of N2O, the N-Tercooler or wutever its called can use both but spraying into the engine will make more power but at the cost of risking engine damage

HP is HP, your limit is what the engine can handle, it doesn't matter if the power comes from nitrous, turbo airflow, or crazy compression. Your rods don't know how the oxygen gets into the cyl...all it cares about is the force exerted on it.

spraying on the intercooler is safest becuase it will make drasticly less power.

a 6 bolt bottom can take close to 475whp before toasting the rods and pistons.

7 bolt motors are down around 400-425

figure out what your making now on the turbo only.....subtact from above....

there you have it....that's what your motor can take

nitrous doesn't do anything bad to the motor other than put in more oxygen. If your to dunb to make sure the correct fuel is going in...well...in that case you most likely would have blown up your motor with a bigger turbo too.

Sorry to be harsh, but that's the truth...if you can't diagnose and tune out a lean AF ratio....your not safe with modding the car either way.

I second that, but for people you "aren't ready for nitrous", they need something SAFE. I plan doing both... co2 on the intercooler, and nitrous IN the intercoolers..

DSmotorsport- I love seeing a 10.800 time slip next to the name Talon..

-=TWITCH=- i wrote u an e-mail asking you ?s about your product and you never answer me. let me know so i can see if i can get hooked up.
