NX wet kit with the optional distribution bar. The project took forever and cost way to much. 8 hours to bend the tubes. How does it look? Anyone have pics of their system, I'm interested to see how else I could have done it.

Did you install the solenoids yet? If so where did you get the fuel from?
Wanna sell that intake? That thing is badass!

The kit came with a T to splice it into the fuel line. I haven't done it yet, but will this weekend. I relocated the battery to the trunk so I have some room in that area to mount the solinoids. Thanks for the compliment but its not for sale. Here is an overhead...

I have a 4 port NOS kit that im puttng on this week. It's already in the manifold. I didn't use metal pipe, but a nylon tube that NOS offers now. I drilled/tapped the fogger holes with a Bridgeport milling machine...that took about a half hour, but they are perfectly inline and angled. Installing all the fittings, solonoids, hoses and jets took another 45 minutes on the bench. The noids, and all piping are under the intake. I made a bracket to bolt the noids to where the factory brace is on the intake...almoast totally hidden.

My bad, coppied the thumbnail pictures.

I set the Mani up on a Drill press with an adjustable table. So each jet is on the same angle. I was slightly off on one jet which is 1/32 higher than the others. I wish I had known about the nylon hose, it would have been a lot easier.

Ill get some pics resized and post them for you to check out. That nylon hose was awsome for install. NOS sells it so i don't think i will have any probs with it coming apart or anything.

are these direct port n20 things needed for a decent n20 setup, im just looking at the regular n.o.s. kit for the turbo elipse. will this do ok? is this direct port, i know its a wet kit. is that the same??

also do you know how much that n20 turbo eclipse kit is from nos?

The basic kit fro NOS is a wet kit, but a single fogger that is put in the throttle body elbow. The downfall to this is that it relies on the stock intake manifold to determine how much nitrous/fuel mixture goes to each cyl. the nitrous/fuel also has a large amount of distance to travel with a few abrupt turns in it inside the manifold. All of the turns tends to fling the fuel out of the mix and it ends up on the manifold wall instead of in the cyl where you want it. Overall a single fogger kit works very well up in the 75hp range. It's still alot better than a dry kit..by far and it's cake to install.

The Direct port kit will have 4 foggers, one for each cyl. The downfall of these is the intake manifold has to be off the car for install, has much more complicated piping with distribution blocks and way more parts that can leak/break. The other downfall is the minimum shot you can run is 100hp. (25hp min per fogger). The benifits are perfect cyl to cyl distribution, and the fuel has no time to come out of suspension since idealy you put the fogger under the intake abou 3-4" from the intake valve.

I retail the direct port NOS kit for $595. I can install it on a 1G intake for $50. I do recomend some upgrades to the kit at minimum a bottle pressure guage and a NHRA required blowdown tube.

A purge kit and bottle heater are usually needed to keep the bottle pressure right at 900psi so the AF ratio stays consistent.
the bottle heater is roughly $120, the purge kit is $96

I picked up my direct port NX kit from a group buy. If I remember correctly it cost me abut $475 shipped. It came with 2 distribution blocks, one for fuel and one for nitrous. I opted to buy the optional single rail set-up that flows both fuel and nitrous in the same rail. The rail cost $275. The rail kit actually comes with 2 rails, I wound up useing only about 10 inches of 1 rail, so it was a big waste of money. But thats not all. You have to drill and tap the rail yourself for the fittings. It cost me around $70 for the proper drills, regular taps to start tapping then bottem end taps to the fitting seats properly. If I had known about the nylon hose I would have used that set-up with the stock 2 distribution blocks. Right now the nitrous mani set-up is in my 97 show car. I'm building an engine from the bottom up and when its done, it will go on the built motor and into my 95 Tsi.

I agree..adding options onto the basic nitrous kit upps the cost considerably. Especially because if you realistly need both a heater and a purge to keep the bottle pressure consistent. Adding in 8 jets at a time to tune the kit also gets $. Plus the minimum parst..bottle guage, blowdown tube, fitting for the blowdown tube, first nitrous fill.

you can easily sink $1000 into a nitrous kit before you even get to use it to have a any-time usable kit. How usable is that $500 nitrous bottle when it's been sitting in the car all day in august at the track, and has 1400psi of pressure in it....hit the button, kiss you pistons goodbye. Same to be said about cold days....when the car will studder from being to rich.

true.. its just something to daydream about as a possibilty in the future.. i had a full NOS kit with heater and purge on my Celica, sold it and got sponsored by Nx and received the same kit with everything from Nx including a remote bottle opener and sold that when i wrecked the car.. wish I still had it as Id use it on my Eclipse :)

ok, i think i will go with the single jet fogger sys. from nos. i dont want THAT much just a good 50-60 shot. besides, i dont want to lose my mind trying to install something.

dsm motorsport, u said you can get nos stuff. do you get it at retail, or wholesale or what.
whats the price of a sinlge jet wet fogger system from nos.

I'm going to tap the fuel tonight. DSMotorsport did you just splice into the line between the filter and rail? I'm going to splice the T in the center of the line unless anyone has another suggestion.

I have -8 fuel lines, and i had a K&N inline filter in the engine compatment on the feed line "back in the day" that got gutted when i found out the sx pump flowed enough to blow out the filter element in the K&N filter...now it's just a dummy. I took the K&N filter out and put in a -8 to -8 fitting with a 1/8" FPguage port. ran the nitrous0fuel line to that.

I carry NOS parts...I can't cut awsome deals on it though....roughly same price as summit...like $549 for the single fogger.
But what i can offer..is alot better support and tech than sumit....(specialy since they dont' even know what a 16g turbo IS)

Whats the price and partnumber for the soft line direct port kit. That kit is baddass!

Well, there isn't really any part # for the kit...I took a kit # 05030 standard 4 cyl fogger kit, and changed it around...i used some other fittings to space the dist block from the solonoids, used the poly soft lines, and made the bracket....I could set you up the poly lines for like $13 on top of the kit, and I can supply the fittins and stuff I used too the basic 4 port nos kit is $595 btw.

not that anyone cares but Im bored so here are a couple pics of my setup in my Celica..

Would it be difficult to mix that plumbing setup with NX hardware?
