I just got done bending all my lines, now i just need to get a flare on the end of my lines so they will seat down on my jets. Anyone know how i can get this done? Thanks

A/N (37 degree) flare tool.

Hint, for small length lines... install the tube nuts and flare the tube BEFORE you bend them.

As hal said, bending is the LAST thing you do. You install the nut and flare end and flare the end of the line. Then you bend them, unfortuantely you probablly made a bunch of useless lines.

Are all of your lines made from SS? If so you will need a really heavy duty flare tool which will need minimum 2" of straight before the first bend. I have a feeling your going to be re-making many of your lines so what you want to do make them from aluminized steel tubing thats for brake lines. It's much easier to work with, very cheap and requires a less expensive flaring tool that will flare with a much smaller straight end available because its only got 2-3 jaws on it vs 8-10 like the SS flaring tool.

If your lines are SS, the $30-$40 flaring tool will not even scratch them never mind flare it. It took a $500 flaring tool from NX directly to flare my SS lines. In the end I made them from aluminized brake line tubing. Best thing is that you can polish it after your done!!

Thanks for all the input, I finally took them to a guy i knew down the road that had a flaring tool, one of the cheaper ones, and he put that in a vice and was able to flare them, i got the nuts on even though i had already bent the lines, i just put them on before flaring the lines, and i was able to get them all flared and not waste any lines. Thanks for you help
