I'm going to when my car is out of the shop with my Nitrous Express N-ter Cooler Chiller system. Here is a pic of the beginning of the install I also amd goint to have a 75hp shot in the tb elbow.

Spraying into the intercooler is not rare. I think it's a much better way to get more power.
that's exzactly what I was thinking also ! And about being so low my car is lowered by Eibach sportlines 1.75 inches also ;) later

You can also fill the bottle with CO2 at your paintball shop. Much cheaper than filling your bottle with N2. It may not be as cold but it's cheaper!

same power gains?

Naw, that's why i said it's not as good because liquid N2 is colder than liquid CO2. But there shouldn't be much of a difference.

No, spraying the FMIC is very effective and pretty safe. I'm just saying CO2 is cheaper and almost as effective. Sometimes obtaining N2 can be harder and is definatly more expensive!

my freind works at a fire protection place so i get fire extinguisher for free. Ihave one of my frineds spray me down right before i race or at the stage lanes at the track, it helps by about 3 tenths witch is a lot for nohtin. i have not put it on the dyno yet to see but will soon and will let you guys know. i am workin on a system that i can use nitrous sielods(i cant spell to save my life) to spray with a switch.

A 10 POUND F.E. works for about 3 runs or so with a good amount of co2 on the FMIC

no2 =3.25+ a pound
co2 =way less

It doesn't matter to me right now I don't want it in my engine thats an easy way out if I wanted your 2c on it in my engine I would have asked you :thumb:

I installed a N2O setup on a customer supra and added a spray bar on his stock side mount. We made a pull on N2O only to the motor and made another pull about 2 minute’s later (heat soaked at this time) and sprayed the motor and the intercooler at the same time. It made 57 more WWHP.

It probably would not have seen as much gain with a good front mount, but none the less it is worth it.

Spraying your intercooler won't make the same gains as spraying into the engine. Spraying a 55shot is perfectly safe if you know what your doing and will give you much better gains.

the big difference is price, and you'd be better off with a 50 shot going into the motor than spraying anything on the ic. now if you run a dual bottle system you could shoot a 50 shot into the engine and co2 onto the intercooler. but whatever you do don't get the bottles mixed up.

you spray it onto the fins of the intercooler. (the outside)

if you look the old evo 6, and the subaru wrx 22b both came with automatic water sprayers. by spraying water onto the ic it would aid in the ic cooling since it would take away some of the heat while it evaporated (same reason we sweat). the co2 is simply colder than the water so it helps cool the ic off more than the water or air alone could.

Alright thats it, i'm confused, mavisky says the outside, gst says inside. i think i'll go with outside since spraying it into the core would mean it'd travel up into the intake anyway and would be the same as putting a dry system on your motor but with a delay right? nitrous isnt my bag, turbos are, so sorry if i'm asking a stupid question.

if you want to spray nitrous into the engine then spray it in up near the tb elbow, if you wanna spray your intercooler to keep it cooler then sppppray ON the intercooler, not in it.
