which head is the best 1g or 2g

I'm thinking the 1g head outflows the 2g, I would go with a 1g. IMO with 3g mitsu large port lifters.

Depends on how you want the car to act.

1g heads have larger ports that will flow more CFM. When coupled with a 1g intake and TB, you get one heck of a high flow setup.

2g heads on the other hand, are not as large as the 1g. But, they do have a higher velocity of the intake charge. This gives the car more torque.

If you want all out power, go for a 1g head. If you want a reasonable daily with good power and torque, go 2g.

IMO: Best street setup is a 2g head slightly ported with an Evo3 manifold and a 1g TB. Best power setup is a 1g head ported for even more flow with a (insert maker here) race manifold and a biggie TB.
