How fast have you taken your auto?

I havn't ever found enough road to really see yet, but last night I got mine up to 120.

I was already going about 70 when there was absolutely nobody in front of me for atleast a mile, just no one. It was about 3 am, so i knew no one was gonna just jump out at me, besides it was 5 lanes of one way freeway to try and dodge them if they did, .

So from a 70 roll I layed into it, it went to 100 pretty quick, and shortly after 110, a little bit longer to 115, and forever to get to 120. After that I shut it down. I didn't think I was gonna get much more out of her or it would just take too long for the highway I was on was kind of bumpy at that speed with minor turns that made me think twice about pushing it.

It felt like when I was driving the car, the only thing holding me back was the air. Does any one know the drag rating on our cars cause man, it felt like the thing hit a wall at 120.

Any way how fast have you gone and did it feel like the wind was really hard to push through on the car?

I have a 91 GST with a full exhaust( turbo back, no cats) intake, K&N cone intake, dejon tool 3in. blow thru, walbro 190, MAFT, boost controller and I was comming home from the local street races and I decided to punch it from 80, but I left it in 5th the entire time and in about 10 sec. I got it up to 143mph up a 10degree hill on the highway. It was at about 5500 rpm, but the car wanted to keep on going it was me who got to sssssscared and slowed down. And my car had a blown head gasked when I did that so yours should go faster than 120. Im boostin at 15 what about you? let me know!

About 138-39..almost 140 but it was too scary! Car started to feel really loose in the ass.

91orangeGST, I am boostin about 14 psi on t25 with bcs restrictor removed. Car is basically all stock with the acception of free mods and a gutted cat. I guess the mods you listed is worth alot, that or your extra gear because my car did not want to give an inch after 120. In a couple weeks I will be removing the balance shafts maybe that will help.get my top end up

I'd like to hear more form you auto guys too, bring it.

i do like it, i did both at same time so i cant tell what did what, but the valvebody is great, very firm shifts its realy not so bad, it just feels like you have a transmission.

I would just like to add that I took her 138 today. It took about 2 miles of down hill, , but I bet the ac wasn't helping anything

At those speeds you can really tell how inferior stock springs and struts are, same with the brakes.

That shit pitches and yaws over every bump it seemed like and my suspension is pretty new.

Before this i was thinking of go fast parts but now I'm not so sure. I think suspension is now in the front of the line, then i will start spending money to make it go faster.

Fully stock i got my GSX to 120 ad backed off, there was still traffic on the 105. i think i could have gotten it up to 130-135 though.

I have a 97 AT GST. The car has hit speeds over 145mhp+ stock and NOW modded MANY times. Back when it was stock(injen intake,hks bov,apex cat back) the car would hit 125mhp w/ no problem but after 125mph, it would take it's sweet a$$ time to go over 135mph. Now that it's modded(ALL suporting mods,550cc,S16G,electronics). It gets there REALLY quick. I just have hard time tuning. I already mess up a transmission. I have this used core w/ a translab shif-kit, alto end clutch kit. I 'm just don't want to push the trans for now. About wind drag. I don't know if i can really complain. I ALWAYS close ALL windows + I have an RM DSM chin spoiler (keeps air from the bottom of the car +add down force to the front wheels), I also have a Kaminari GTR wing. It's a little heavier then the 97+ Turbo wing.

120 twice...first time it was winter and my friend was diving...at night....(that wont happen again)...second time on my way to work....
cool thing is that in the winter it took forever to get to...and now...even with my modest mods...it got there alot sooner...i cant wait to see what more will do...and does more horse give better top speed? or does it have to do with gearing?

92 gsx auto, when it was stock i had it to 137. haven't tried it since i did stuff to the car.

I did 125mph really really easy in my 92' awd last weekend. It was pulling really hard, I just shut her down due to traffic and the fact it was night and I had my low beams on.

The car was only running 8psi at the time to, and the only mod was a k/n filter.
