OK I need some help. We don't have a local home depot so I got the fittings from a local hydralic place. The problem is that they didn't have the 1/4 fittings with the 3/16 nipples. They only had 1/8 by 3/16 but they had adaptors to make it a 1/4. Will this still work?

Can you e-mail me the link to the Home Depot boost controller? I am really curious about looking into this, for when I get my Laser running.

In the same section at home depot (same isle) I found a couple of springs, I think they were called utility springs. I cut the spring so when dropped into the boost controller, the top of the spring was flush with the top of the valve (ball bearing installed).

Make sure your spring is not too stiff. My first attempt at a controller the spring was way to stiff and my boost would spike to what I set it to and drop to 9 psi. You should be able to load your spring easily with two fingers in your hand, sorry best description I could come up with. Almost like a pen spring.

Good Luck,
Andrew

If I have time I will do a tech article on building one, its really quite a simple project, I don't understand why people go out and buy these things for 50 bucks, I made mine for around $10 CND.
