Question about using a 6 puck sprung clutch disc with stock pressure plate

My power goals are 300-350 HP, which im getting closer and closer to achieving. I purchased a 6 puck sprung clutch disc (clutchnet), Was wondering if it would be alright to use a stock pressure plate with the disc to keep the stock feel to the clutch. I could go with a ACT 2100 or 2600 disc but driving in traffic is a daily thing for me and its bad enough as it is around here without having more clutch effort.

Car is FWD so im not gonna be doing any hard launching and I dont goto the track that much.

Will a stock PP hold up well with this new disc? Figure this in a car with 300 hp.
 
An ACT 6-puck and stock plate would easily hold 300hp. Will the Clutchnet disc? I dunno. I would assume so, but I've read some pretty bad things about them. (Read good things about Eclutchmasters pucks, though.) Really, for a 300hp street FWD, a plain 'ol 2100 plate and stock disc would work great, and while 2600 plates take some leg, 2100lb plates feel "just right" to me.

If you want stock pressure, though, then you have two main choices. Get an ACT 6-puck and stock plate, or use that Clutchnet and see how it goes. Of those two choices, I'd get the ACT 6-puck for $75 and stock plate and call it a day. People are running that combo on 20g'd AWDs. Long-term wear of daily-driven pucks is still a subject of debate, however. I don't know if you've ever driven an ACT 2100 or not, but it's not bad at all and would probably be the most streetable and easiest on the driveline over time. And the plate should easily last 2 or 3 disc changes in the future. For daily-driving, seems like the springs on the disc will break before the material wears down enough to slip.

Any of these choices will probably work decent, but at the worst, just throw the Clutchnet in, and if it has to come out later, then so be it.
 
Well its not like a constantly drag race this car, Since I already got the clutchnet disc Ill use the stock pressure plate and see how it goes. If I need to do the clutch again sometime Ill go with an ACT. Anything better than the stock disc will make me happy :)
