I got a temp sensor from zeitronix and I can't seem to find an -AN fitting that accepts the depth of this sensor. I am trying to use it for my trans temp to run it into my zt-2 wideband display instead of buying another gauge for my car. I was told that in order for it to read properly it needs to be in the actual flow of the fluid so I'm kinda lost as to how I can do that.

Has anybody used this sensor before? if so how did you run it or what fitting did you use? I have a russell fitting I got from summit racing but the cavity is not deep enough to even start threading in the fitting.

This page has the actual sensor I have, again its the fluid temp sensor 1/8th npt

And this is the fitting from summit I bought, but again it doesnt fit in.

I tried looking for a bushing that was 1/8th male to 1/8th female but I couldnt find anything that was big enough to fit the sensor through. My other thought was maybe I could just get a fitting with a 1/2 npt thread and I should be able to easily fit the bushing that is a 1/2 male to 1/8th female and that would give me enough room to fit the sensor through, but i figured I would just go ahead and ask if anybody has been down this road. Thanks again guys!
