I installed my innovate mtx-l wideband with no problems. I calibrated it and worked fine for a few weeks. Now it's giving me problem. It giving me error code E2. I know what E2 code means. I called innovate they say unplug the wideband and make sure you hear the (click) when pluging it back in after calibration is done. I do that the wideband will work for a few moments an then give me code E2. I bought a new sensor and still does the same thing. Any idea could it be faulty wiring fom wideband itself.

Any ideas?:banghead:

This happened to me upon installation. Turns out one of my zip ties that I used to tuck away the connector wasn't allowing the connector to stay fully seated. I know you said you checked your connections but hopefully it's something simple like that and not a bad unit.

I'ma check and unplug it all ,reinstall it and check what it's does.

Thanks for the replies.

Update I disconnected everything and plugged it all back up also calibrated the O2 worked for a few hours then it started the E2 code again..... Defected harnes from innovate?:banghead:

ya sounds like a bad unit to me. Only issue I ran into with the mtx-l was that when I turned the car off and activated my turbo timer, it did not stay on like it should. It killed my o2 sensor within a few months but it was my fault. I wired it to the radio instead of ignition. :banghead: Haven't had any issues since after replacing the o2 sensor.
