Cam caps direction

Just checked three of my cylinder heads, but all have I or E markings. Typically, left or right on an engine is based on as if you were sitting on the engine facing the timing belt (front) end. I would confirm this with your parts as the first response indicated.

Also, if you put the cams in with the caps tightened down (no rockers...) you should be able to turn the cams with little effort as another verification.

Did you not take a picture before you removed them? And yeah they have a lot of different numbers going on there ,
I can see your cause for concern

Mine got jumbled to the dog knocked my table over would this order work on a 96 Gst thanks you

Anyone have a picture of the cam caps for a 96 Gst
