i built a motor and had an issue with water getting in the oil.. well it ran for maybe 30 to 45 minutes. as soon as in saw oil pressure dropping to around 14psi at idle i shut off the motor and never ran it again. i finally tore the motor down. and i saw the bearing like this what do you guys think for only being ran for a short time..

To me it looks like the bearing wasnt getting lubricated properly. When you built the engine the 1st time did you have the crank turned? Or polished? Im assuming the bearing is from the crank. If so then check out your crank visually and see if theres any weird markes, scratchs, etc on the journals.
But all in all, i wouldnt reuse the bearing if it was me. There not to exspensive, and well worth haven the peice of mind to know that you have brand new bearing, nothing that can be a potential rist for the newly rebuild engine.

The crankshaft was a brand new eagle forged crankshaft fresh out of the bad and box . I used lubraplate assembly lube when it was assembled.. and primed the oil pump before starting

That looks more like trash in the oil.

Even a brand new crank out the bag and box needs to be cleaned.

before i put it in i used a product call bonafide its a really good solvent to clean off the journals and bearings . then assembled it using lubraplate assembly lube..

That definitely looks like trash in the oil and/or dirty assembly. Did you have the head and oil pump cleaned as well?

At the very least, I would take the crank to a machinist and have it inspected, cut/polished, and thoroughly cleaned to include pulling the plugs and scrubbing the galleys. It would be best to have the same done to everything else, but if not then I would flush the oil as best as possible and hope the oil filter caught the debris. For assembly, I would suggest picking up a brand new tube of Moly-Graphite assembly lube and some Nitrile gloves.

And FYI- Stock oil pressure is ~12psi at idle.

the crankshaft will be taken to a machine shop to be polished.. as for the block .. it has odd damage .. and will not be used again i have another block at the machine shop now getting tanked and checked.
