idle/ power issue video link included

So ive already checked the timing and i cant find any leaks (air) but so i finished putting the engine together and it starts up fine kinda high (1k rpm) and i drive it fine for about 1-2 minutes then ot starts to lose power and the engine revs but not under load it loses power so i turn it off and turn it back on and then ot works fine for like another 1-2 minutes i dont get why if i turn it off then on its like it resets? Video link below....also i got a P1400 code? But it comes and goes.

Ok so I recently drove it around some more and it seems like when it hits boost the car changes behavior, it seems to stay on and run fine and idle fine but the vibrating noise is still very annoying. I still havent gotten in the balance shaft delete kit. The car seems to drop in revs quicker than normal between 2-3 gear seems like something is holding it back or up or something? I mean am I right to assume the balance shaft? I already left one shaft free because it froze and screwed my belt and engine up pretty bad. So that one is free but the other one is still attached and i feel like its the one making the noise in the video I posted.

Some one help me please!

This happened to my car after sitting awhile and eventually the problem just went away, never figured out what actually caused it but I think it was just from sitting over the winter and maybe getting moisture in the tank.

Has yours been sitting with gas in the tank while you worked on the motor?

Yes it has, but its only been 3-4 months with premium fuel and it was topped off. But I'm more concerned with the vibrating noise that it makes as it revs higher. Its not really noticeable until after 2k rpm and higher.

You said that you eliminated one of the balance shafts? I would advise you that you not drive the car any more until you either replace the one that you elimnated, or finish the delete. You're in Indy? If you're on the South Side, go down to Ray Skillman Mitsu in Greenwood and talk to Brian Trehune in their service department about your idle issue. He used to run a DSM/Evo performance shop out of his garage after work, he should be able to help you figure out what's up with the car.

Yes well the left balance shaft i left it on just removed the pulley left it as it was. And yes I have stopped the car and it does seem to be the remaining balance shaft thats making that noise. I ordered the parts from STM already should be in by tomorrow @ 12pm. And thanks for the heads up on Brian Ill give him a call tomorrow. But yes the car is parked and already being disassembled for the delete kit tomorrow.
