Do stock 2g GST's come with fmic?

I'm 17 years old and very new to the car scene. My first and current car is a 2g Spyder Eclipse GS. I am getting rid of it though to get a 2g GST but I have some questions before I go rushing into it so I'm not getting ripped off. I do plan on having this car for a pretty long time. I want something that I can call my own and be proud of but also have a pretty sick car to drive around town in. But enough with that. I've been browsing multiple sights like CL, TR and other sights that sell cars and I see a lot of posts for 2G GST's and some pictures have FMIC's and some don't. I've done a little research and found out about SMIC's. My main question is that do all stock 2g GST's come with SMIC's, and if it does have a FMIC, that means it's aftermarket? Sorry for the long intro but it'd be nice to know about this before I go rushing into something that's not really what it seems.

Just go buy a compression tester, they can be in the $20-$30 range for the cheaper priced ones. Aside from that, you'll just need the stock PSI numbers for comparisson.

Well then I'm in luck. All of my friends have been in shop class all through high school and they all drive American cars so I want something faster than them. I don't know if anyone really follows NASCAR but the shop teacher is David Reutimann's father so they all have decent knowledge from a good teacher. I'm hoping I can learn a lot from you guys and build something pretty speedy.

No need for this. It's okay that he doesn't know that, he seems intelligible and ready to learn. Maybe you're irritated by him cause he asked such a simple question, well such a simple question may not have been answered in the sites history.
