How do I remove OEM sticker residue

How do I completely clean off the residue left behind by the OEM badge/sticker? I tried googone and got no where!! I wanted a nice clean look for my rear!

Thanks in advance!

Maybe using a hair dryer to melt it a bit then wipe off with a wet towel. Just keep repeating until you like it. Just don't focus heat on paint for to long. Good off eats away clear doesn't it? I used it once and the paint looked different in that area.

My friend used soap and water and then used wd-40 to remove it off his car. Might have to rub it a bit and repeat though

Weirdly enough, Coca Cola works wonders on glue residue (and rusted/jammed mechanisms and cleaning coins...wonder why we drink it? ). One that will also work is nail polish remover if you have one that has acetone in it in low portions.

Have you tried bug and tar remover? It got rid of the sticker residue on my car but im not sure if the adhesive is the same type. I had good results with that and a razorblade on the windows and for the body i soaked the area and used a scotchbrite pad.

Bug and Tar Remover or Oops! Adhesive Remover. Get a plastic scraper for Bondo if it's really on there.

Goo Gone usually works well when removing decals. I'm sure there is some other kind of adhesive remover that will work as well.. Try using something a bit rougher, obviously something not so rough that it will scratch your paint, possibly something like a rough sponge or something along that line.

isopropyl alcohol aka rubbing alchohol softens and loosens most glue residue, I have used it on paint before and it doesnt seem to hurt the paint or clear coat at all.

Don't use brake cleaner... Wow.

I've done the Hair dryer trick also. residue: "Goo-gone", WD-40 and lighter fluid is good, BUT don't be cheap and expect a little bit will do wonders...get it WET! You don't wash your hand with drops of water to remove dirt, do you .. you get them WET!

Go to an autobody supply store and get an eraser wheel the have some that u can chuck in a drill. Use slow speed and take your time or you will damage your paint (not common). The 3m adhesive remover works wonders also

I used goo gone. Let it set in for about 5 mins then take a razor or a putty knife to it. Should come off nicely.
