What does this go to?

My reverse lights and license plate lights aren't working. The grommet in the center of the picture has a plug that doesn't go to anything at the moment. Would this have anything to do with it?

I looked up inside the bumper and couldn't find where it plugs in at.

did you check your fuse box?

Yea all the fuses are good. I'm fairly certain that this needs to plug into a harness for the reverse/ plate lights because they are both mysteriously not working. I just cant find where the grommet harness plugs into for the lights inside the bumper.

check the bottom of the car between the bumper and the body you should see some wire there.

the wires your pointing too go to your license plate light and reverse light. Did you just get the car or did they just go out?

just fixed mine a week ago , there should be another harness from the lights. that plugs into that switch.
