Hello friends !

Today I was looking closer at my engine BAY and found 3 plugs that connects to nothing near the Throttle Body.

Strangest thing is that I have this car for over an year and never realized that ! Oh, the car works fine, but who knows if something is missing.

Could you help me identify it ? Maybe it isn't even stock...

Sorry, that's the best Pics I managed to take =P

Thank you very much guys;

Blue connector - Engine speed detection connector
Black connector - Fuel pump check connector
Tan connector - Timing ground connector

For reference: http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/tuning-engine-management/337818-where-ground-timing-95-a.html

Whoa Thanks friend !

So, there's no problem in letting them loose ? From what I've read (from your link), the Timing ground connector is used by grounding it ?

But what about the others ? What about the Fuel pump check connector ? Should it be connected to "nothing" ?

Thanks !!!!

None of them are connected to anything, they are all "test" connectors.

The tan one is grounded when you wish to check your base timing: http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/newbie-forum/271538-how-do-i-check-base-timing-timing-light.html. The black one is powered when you want to check if the fuel pump works correctly: http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/newbie-forum/245152-fuel-pump-drive-connector-check-terminal-location.html -- for the process, not the connector color. The blue one provides an easy outlet to read the tach signal: http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/newbie-forum/137393-engine-speed-detection-conncetor.html#post1116682.
