Hey

I just bought a injen take system and a greddy bov type rs for my 2g A/T.
after installing everything( i used stock tubing for the bov)i went for a test drive,and now when i gas the car if just doesnt go anywhere when the turbo kicks in....i guess its not boosting??? but i hear a loudd pisssshhhhh(i think its the bov) or could it be a boost leak? Im just reallly worried cause my car was fine before.anyone got any info PLEASE!!! LOL..

one more thing.i think it could have been cause i maybe didnt tighten the bolts all the way on the intake so aire was leaking.

THANKS GUYS!!!:cry::cry:

before you do anything make sure all is secure. check for any possible boost leaks. if its a knock off greddy i would suspect the bov. however propper installation sounds like your problem. did you adjust the valve for you car?

you say you did recirculate the bov? if not you need a maf translator but i would suspect the bov is not correctly adjusted try tightening the sping rate on it by tightening the nut on the top of the bov

ok i think i did that also.so this can be caused cause of the bov? the greddy rs is real.I think i just did the install the wrong way.Im gonna fix that problem tonight.i have a fmic so im just gonna intall that tommorow and see how it goes from there....

She's good as new!!!!!! I love my new bov it sounds really nice....now im allmost done with the fmic kit.

Thanks guys for your help!!
