So on the top of my valve cover i found a little puddle of oil rolling around the spark plug area. I looked around and found a little vent hole on the cover that looks completely carefully placed? Does anyone know what i'm talking about, (on the inside toward the right). But everytime i drive it builds up to a certain point then doesnt leak anymore oil out of that hole. If i wipe it up the same thing happens. I put in a standard catch can with ventilation and theres no oil in it when i check. So wtf? Please help me out, It's aggrivating. I'll post pictures if you guys need me to. :banghead:

There should not be a hole in ## valvecover but for the pcv and for the breather valve stem on the left side.and a oil catch can can take a long time to fill.depends on how hard u run ## car and how much u run.with higher boost u will have more oil flow.my catch can took about six months to fill. Also post some pics it would realy help

Ok, I'll take a picture when I get off work. And there's no oil at all getting to the catch can, If you go to my pictures in my profile, you can see the NOS bottle can I made, and the hole is located on the far right(out of site). It's a perfect hole though, not like something that could have broken

Are you talking about the drain hole in the valve cover? There is a small hole going from the inside of the cover on the far right to the outside incase oil or water gets build up so it can't get down the spark plugs.

YES! how come no other person who owns a dsm has heard of that hole!? Well the problem is that oil basically must be flying out of there because everytime i pop the hood theres a puddle going on..

You don't have oil coming out of that hole. That hole goes strait through to the outside of the valve cover. It vents/drains stuff OUT from the inside. I just had the same problem, oil everywhere by the plug holes. It was a crack in the valve cover by one of the bolts on the upper right, oil was leaking through that crack. Others have had this, I can guaranty you have a small crack somewhere. I put JB Weld on it from THE OUTSIDE of the valve cover, I didn't even take it off, that fixed the oil leak problem. Be careful not to tighten the bolts down too hard on the cover I think that's what screwed mine up.

Use JB Weld to seal it better. I would also look for a cheap VC to replace it with as well.
