Way too much gas, won't stay running

I try to start the car, sometimes it won't even turn over properly, it'll act like it gets... stuck, and I have to try again. But with the engine relay pulled, it turns over completely normal.

Brand new plugs gapped at .028 and after trying to start if a few times, I pulled one, and it smelled and was coated with gas.

When it does start, it only stays running for a few seconds, and the exhaust smells extremely rich.

I've changed oil, compression checked it (180 on all 4), inspected valve springs/lifters/rockers, new plugs, and am assuming its electrical now.

Suggestions?

sorry I had thought I was going to 6 bolt swap it. Its 7 bolt. Not a single mod on the car. Everything is stock.

Was out trying to screw with it again. With engine relay out, it cranks fine. With it in, it'll usually start, but for 2-3 seconds max. It'll even try to rev then just shut off. Sometimes it stops itself from cranking.

It sounds like its running smooth now, until it just shuts off.

Unplugged maf - no difference
Uplug TPS - no difference
Unplug MDP - just cranks like engine relay is out
Unplug sensor by fuel rail - Does same ^

Will replace TPS first chance I get, as a mounting ear is broke and you can jiggle a little bit. I imagine that'd be a pretty big problem? Also, I never see a cel light on ever. Not when I turn the key on, not when its running for all of 2 seconds.

So i grab a friends spare TPS, put it on, and the car is doing the same things.

I cycle the motor to get the timing marks lined up, and they're both centered... but not facing each other? The intake mark is facing the exhaust sprocket, level with the head. The exhaust mark is level with the head, but facing the firewall. WTF

Basically my exhaust mark is 180 degrees off, I know that would explain why its running so ####ing weird, but would that mean its opening at the same time the intake valves are? Would it be hitting the pistons?

Do you have a Check Engine Light? What's the condition of your timing belt? Did you recently buy the car? If so, did you buy it cheap? If you did, it probaly jumped time.

I would fix the timing. Check the head for damage. Check the ECU. Replace the stock bov with a 1g :p

If you need a 1g bov adapter, I have one for sale. PM me for details.

If its cheap Ill grab it from ya.

I feel like a retard, rechecked timing with the dowel pins facing up, then realized the intake cam has 2 marks on it? Those bastards, the marks lined up fine.

Ok, so the sensor on the top of the intake mani (Manifold differential pressure sensor?) will randomly make noise with the key to the ON position, and sometimes I get a random buzzing from the relay box by the air filter.

Normal?

I'm pretty sure, when I pushed on the throttle, it wanted to move the tps (before putting the bolts in and tightening, so I imagine its on correctly.

I do know theirs a way to "calibrate" it though, and no I havn't done that, been looking for a good "how to" for it.
