im not sure really, im just confused by the rectangular flage at the base and the diomand shape flange. of all the searching of wastegates ive done i havent found one like it.

It could be a knock offf but if it is it's trying real hard to look like an HKS one. The bottom half and flanges are definitely the same.

If it's not free or $20, you should pass....new ones are, like, $40:

no he bought a box with a bunch of misc. stuff in it, and the guy he bought it from didnt know either. From that link im pretty convinced that it just may be an HKS.

How about the fact that a real HKS gate will have H K S cast into the top? Still think it's a real HKS gate?

Hey thanks JUSMX141 sometimes I gotta get kicked in the teeth to realize the obvious, but dont we all sometimes. haha. But other then the name on the top that one looks pretty legit. Its never been installed, and was gonna pick it up for 40 bucks. You guys think itd b worth it?

Alright, I know Im bumping my own year and a half old thread but I managed to pick up my buddys TDO5H 20g and this 40mm wastegate. I started looking into this wg again just for kicks.. I found this > Projects & Mods - External Wastegate and 2.5" O2 where it compares a knock off HKS wastegate and a real one. If you look at the actual HKS gate pictures, mine is exactly the same minus the "HKS" stamp on the top like the one that Justin posted above.

Ive also been searching and searching for an o2 housing with this flange so I can run this 20g. If I need to Ill sell this one and buy a Tial 38mm. So, does anyone know where I can find an o2 housing with this flange?!
