I need some advise

I am thinking about getting a 92 talon AWD that is in great shape. the problem is that this car has no title, its not stollen. I can get this car for 1000. I can also buy another car that is a 90 plymouth laser Front wheel drive turbo for 400. Im wanting to take everything out of the talon awd and turn the laser into an awd so i can have a car with a title. plus the talon looks a little better and it has a messed up engine. is it possible to do this.
or what would be a better way to get a running AWD car with a talon out of these 2 cars?

First off you will spend more time a money needed converting FWD to AWD. Next, if the car isn't stolen the owner of the car neededs to go to the local MVA or DMV to get a new title. If the car was in his or her name last then they can get a new title. If it is in someone elses name then they should contact them and ask for a bill of sale. It is easier to rush into things, but trust me patience is a good thing to have.

I would get things rolling with the title first then by all means nessasery look for another AWD turbo car before trying to do something that will cost you more then the car is worth.

Ive found another AWD for 500 with no engine, i think ill try to get that.

to get a running 1G AWD i will spend up to 2000.

How far will you travel to get it?

I waited 6 months and found my Bright Red 97 GST for 10,000 and the car has only 35,000 miles on it. Got it from a dealer.

So if I can find one for that, you can find a nice 1g for 2 grand already for you to jump in and go!

well the way i look at it, i can buy this talon awd for 1000 take the engine and put it in another awd eclipse/talon/laser that cost me 500. then i can sell the awd talon for parts and possibly get a few hundred out of it. so then I will have a running 1G AWD. and i wont even have to spend 2000

yeah with enough patience you can find a great deal...
i got my dsm for $12,000... and it had 20,500 miles on it.

If you like a car at a distance you can always pay to have it shipped to you! A gamble but $2500 for a nice GSX is great!

you can't convert a 1G FWD to AWD like you can the 2Gs... the 1G FWD and AWD are not the same car at all...
