exhaust wrap question

I got some exhaust wrap and i was going to wrap my manifold, its the turbonetics cast manifold and will this wrap stuff make it crack?

Yeah, I don't see why it would make it crack. You should be fine...

Maybe if it was a tubular welded, it would crack but not from the wrap. Cast is very nice and last a lot longer depending on the quality.

If you wrap a welded tubular manifold improperly you can trap moisture between the manifold and the wrap, leading to corrosion and cracking. Also, if the manifold is poorly designed and/or poorly welded the additional heat being built up in the manifold due to the wrap can causes issues with the welds. However, the T-netics mani is cast and therefore inherently stronger than a tubular manifold, so you should be ok. Be sure to wrap it tightly and use silicon sealing spray.
