Auto 1g Exhaust Manifold Replacement

I took off my heat shield 2 days ago and noticed that my exhaust manifold gasket is shot. So I am getting ready to take my manifold off, but rather than putting it back on I would rather upgrade it. My question is, will a 2g exhaust manifold be a direct bolt-on, on a Auto 1g? I thought I read somewhere where the auto 1g's had a smaller exhaust manifold than the manual 1g's. If they are different, what do I need to "mate" the parts together? I plan on getting a 2.5" turbo back exhaust if it helps any.

Thanks for any information,

Travis

i think the exhaust manifolds are the same for all 1g's. The 2g should bolt right up to it like it does for manuals.

Yes, the 2G exhaust mani should bolt up, that is a common upgrade, a ported 2G exhaust mani.
