calgary,
hey guys im new to dsm...bought a tsi not too long ago
anyways..when the car is cold shifting is really smooth like butter
and have no problems..when it gets warm when driving for around 30 minutes
it gets harder to put into gear..like i have to jam it in or pump the clutch in order
for the gear to go in..i have been driving the car like this for 2 months now..
its really tiring on my leg LOL..i changed the slave cylinder..it has a new clutch..
i have not changed the master yet though because i dont think its broken..no leak
or anything..as i said when the car is cold it works perfect when it gets warm..gets harder to put into gear...anyone having this kind of problem? thanks a bunch

i bleed the slave..the feel of the clutch changes too as i drive more..when car is cold..and have not been driven..it feels smooth..then driving it more..it gets more stiffer

im not to shure what oil it has on the tranny..jst got it couple months ago..you guys think it could be
the oil?? transmission oil getting to thin when gets warm??

not yet..i was trying to figure it out while it was no the hoist i could not find it LOL dumb me
so i have to take out the pan rite? no drain plug?

There should be a drain plug on the bottom of the tranny its a large 24mm bolt head. And a filler plug on the front side of the tranny, It has a 17mm bolt head. Remove both plugs and let it drain out. Then replace the plugs and Re-fill it with syncromesh or a thicker mix(blend) if you perfer.

No Pan, unless you have an automatic.

Here is a link with suggestions on what types of fluid people perfer.

are u sure u bleed the slave cylinder good enough? thats really what it sounds like to me

yeah im pretty shure..very weird thing is that when its cold..its fine..smooth shifting
and clutch is soft

OOOOOOOOO SNAPPPPPPPPP...finally fixed it ..i was driving the car fcked up for 2 months LOL
