[RESOLVED] Which temp sensor is for the gauge? help asap please

Im installing an aftermarket temp gauge and i was wondering what sensor leads to the gauge?? a pic or explanation would be great, thanks.

I thought the 1g's have an extra port on the therm housing where you can put a seperate sensor, or you can get an adapter which which will spice in the upper radiator hose. Look around someone sells them.

They do. I have the 2 stock sensors (for ECU and gauge) as well as an Autometer sensor in the thermostat housing. And I have one hole that is plugged up. I can get some pictures if you'd like.

Ok thanks, i would like a pic too. I unpluged the a/c and used that for now. Is there any harm in doing this? im not using the a/c because its cold anyway.

The single wire sensor on the thermostat housing is the one for the gauge.

Thats the one i thought it was. Thanks for the confirmation, the adaptor that came with it only fits the a/c and ecu sensors.

Here's the pictures.

You can see the whole I plugged in this picture. Look right under the radiator cap. The plug is gold colored.
